In one moment, I changed my narrative. Looking to a new beginning, I reconnected with my true self and built a life greater than I ever could have imagined.
I opened my eyes and noticed it was light outside. Instantly gripped by panic, I looked at the clock—5:45 a.m. The night before, I checked my alarm five times because today was supposed to be different! And yet, I had set my alarm for 5 p.m. instead of a.m. I thought I might as well give up before I even began, but a new idea surprised me. I could get up now and still start over.
On August 14, 2017, I went through an incredible transformation. That first day I started small with getting up, working out and eating clean. I continued doing small things for myself and my mindset shifted. The next day I was up at 5 a.m. The day after that was even earlier, and by the following week, I was up at 4 a.m. every morning. I took control of my story, the person I told myself I was in my own mind. We all have valleys in our lives. I found my way out of some, but in the years before my transformation, I had lost myself.
When I became a father at 16 years old, I did not have a plan. I never had conversations about college or options—I just tried to get by. I had my two oldest children at a young age and did what I could. However, I was still a kid myself in many ways and had a lot of growing up to do.
Everything I went through got me where I am today, and I would not trade my journey.
I love where I am now and where I am headed. It was unbelievably hard at first, running a carpet cleaning business for over a decade, then working security at night and real estate during the day. After getting my REALTOR® license in 2009, I spent much of that first year eating ramen noodles. We literally did not have a penny to spare. Then I stepped away to be a stay-at-home father for my two youngest daughters and finally realized I needed to change from within.
I am so filled with joy because I am grateful for everything. With each meal I share and each person I meet, I recognize the gift in every day. I will not let anything take my happiness. Being a stay-at-home father was the most rewarding and hardest job I have ever had.
I lost myself in the daily care of my youngest children (born nineteen months apart) and ultimately found who I was at my core. I am driven to provide the love, stability and opportunities for my children that I did not have growing up, but most of all to keep on growing. All we can hope is to continue growing alongside each other while we steadily become better people.

I know I am so fortunate for where I am and where I am going. The future keeps on getting brighter and brighter. I am going to have to buy darker sunglasses! Whenever I am not working, I enjoy working out, reading, golfing, and lifting others up. My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is simply helping people.
You can hire any REALTOR® to sell or buy a home, but I want to provide you with a phenomenal life experience along the way. I care about you and your home, and I’ll do everything I can to get you the results that best fit your unique lifestyle.
Real estate is an industry that can produce any number of last-minute complications or roadblocks to throw things off track. I do not let any of that stop me or my clients. Staying communicative, positive and creative, I will help you achieve whatever results you want. Whether you are selling a $20,000 mobile home or a $50 million estate, I will do anything I can to help you move forward.
I have extensive experience in residential and luxury real estate, even setting price records within my area. Underneath it all, we are just people trying to go on to our next chapters, and I enjoy helping my clients turn each page. Once the transaction is over, I will continue to lift you up as your lifelong REALTOR® and friend.
Sincerely,
Lowell Fulson III
